For Regional Victorian neighbourhood houses, the advice is:

  • Open with a density quotient of 1 person per 2 sqm when using a COVID Check-in Marshal, otherwise density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm applies
  • No overarching venue cap. No group limits
  • Indoor physical recreation can operate subject to a density quotient of 1 person per 2 sqm when using a COVID Check-in Marshal, otherwise density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm applies
  • Face masks must be worn indoors, and only need to be worn outdoors where 1.5 metres physical distancing cannot be maintained


Please ensure everyone is observing the highest standards of COVID-Safe practice. This includes:

  • Using the Victorian Government’s QR Code Check In (and a paper alternative for people who do not use technology)
  • Face masks indoors
  • Hand sanitizer at entry and other key location points
  • Physical distancing (no hugs or shaking hands)
  • Regular disinfecting of high touch points and surfaces
  • ​Clear signage displayed at your premises and messaging via your regular channels
